Terms & Conditions
The terms that apply when you use the PCsupport.ca website or request our support services.
1. Agreement to These Terms
By accessing www.pcsupport.ca (the “Website”) or requesting services from PCsupport.ca (“we,” “us,” “our”), you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website or our services.
2. Services
PCsupport.ca provides computer support services, including remote support, troubleshooting, setup assistance, and related technical help for home users, professionals, and small businesses in Canada. The scope, availability, and pricing of any service are confirmed with you before work begins.
3. Support Requests and Quotes
- Submitting a support request does not create an obligation for us to provide services, or for you to purchase them.
- Estimates and recommendations are based on the information you provide; the actual issue may differ once diagnosed.
- Work proceeds only after you approve the recommended next step.
4. Customer Responsibilities
- Provide accurate information about your device and the issue.
- Maintain backups of important data. While we take care with your system, data loss can occur during any technical work, and you are responsible for backing up your data unless a backup service is explicitly agreed.
- Ensure you have the right to authorize work on any device you submit for support.
5. Remote Support
Remote sessions occur only with your permission. You may end a session at any time. You are responsible for the security of your own network and devices outside of an active support session.
6. Payment
Fees for services and support plans are communicated before work begins. Payment terms, accepted methods, and any plan renewal details are confirmed at the time of purchase. See our Refund Policy for information about refunds.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, PCsupport.ca is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including data loss, lost profits, or business interruption, arising from services or the use of this Website. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot be limited under applicable Canadian consumer protection law.
8. Third-Party Products and Services
We may recommend or help configure third-party hardware, software, or services. These remain governed by their own vendors’ terms and warranties, which we do not control.
9. Website Use
You agree not to misuse the Website, attempt unauthorized access, or submit false or malicious information through our forms. Website content is provided for general information about our services and may change without notice.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The “Last updated” date reflects the latest revision. Continued use of the Website or services after changes means you accept the updated terms.
11. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the applicable federal laws of Canada.
